We are looking for a skilled and committed Nursing Supervisor to oversee our nursing staff and guarantee that our patients receive top-notch treatment. Managing nursing staff, supervising patient care, and ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and regulations are all crucial tasks performed by the nursing supervisor. Robust clinical knowledge, strong leadership, and proficient communication are prerequisites for this role.
Accountabilities:• Manage and provide guidance to nursing personnel, such as certified practical nurses, registered nurses, and nursing assistants.
• Assign nursing staff members tasks and responsibilities in accordance with their training and experience.
• Regularly assess performance and offer constructive criticism to improve both individual and group output.
• Ascertain that each patient's nursing care plan is created and carried out successfully.
• Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to guarantee seamless care transitions.
· Keep an eye on compliance and enforce it•
To improve nursing abilities, offer opportunities for professional development and continual training.
• Work together with doctors and other medical specialists to guarantee patient care that is coordinated.
• Encourage efficient communication between the medical team and the nursing personnel.
• Oversee nursing resources, such as personnel, tools, and supplies.
• Manage the nursing department's budget and resource allocation effectively.
• Determine where nursing procedures need to be improved and put the right plans into action.
• Examine nurse measurements and results to gauge how well patients are being cared for.
• Verify adherence to standards, license requirements, and legislation pertaining to healthcare.
• Keep up-to-date and correct nursing documentation and records.
• Serve as a point of contact to arrange patient care and nursing response in times of emergency or crisis.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
It is beneficial to have a master's degree in healthcare administration or nursing.
• It is required to hold a current nursing license issued by the UAE's health regulatory body.
• Demonstrated experience in a related nursing leadership position or as a nursing supervisor.
• Thorough understanding of UAE healthcare laws, patient care requirements, and nursing practices.
• Excellent managerial and leadership abilities to effectively lead and inspire the nursing staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• The capacity for critical analysis and problem-solving in order to handle challenging patient care scenarios.
• Speaking and writing Arabic is beneficial, but proficiency in English is required.
• The ability to work shifts and take on on-call responsibilities as needed in healthcare environments
